Day 12 | Alaska | Anchorage | Information Overload

This morning we loaded up on coffee at the Black Cup, being our first ‘free refill’ coffee experience. This was enough charge to get us going to check out all the visitor information centres.

We went to 3 in total and I can’t say if we left more informed or just totally confused!

The information stack – note the bear safety brochure :-/ Β (And everyone thinks Australia is dangerous!)

At the public land information centre we watched a short movie on the earthquake that hit the area in the 60’s. It was pretty devastating at 9.2 magnitude.

Lunch was at the Glacier Brewhouse, again continuing the local beer education.

It was a pretty quiet day which I think we needed and we cooked up some vegetables for dinner at the hostel. I think we needed something to cut through all the gorging we have been doing.
