Today was pretty uneventful. The morning we were a little slow to get going as whilst I was up Anthony had quite a sleep in 😉
Then once packed up and organised we grabbed a taxi to the bus station to jump on our first bus which took us to Managua. Two Kiwis who we met yesterday as part of another group volcano boarding just happened to jump on the same bus as us so it made our bus ride pass super quickly as we got chatting to them. Also fellow long term travellers who are finishing up their year long adventure at the end of the year.
From Managua it was onto another bus to Granada. As coincidence would have it the Kiwi’s were staying at the same place as us! (We blame them for just missing out on a private room at the hostel! LOL!)
Whilst we got in relatively early in the afternoon, the rest of the day was a bit of a write off as it just poured and poured with rain. Not inspiring us to get out and explore the town!! So we just continued talking with our new Kiwi friends before they headed out to meet some peeps for dinner.
Once the rain had subsided a little, we headed out to the grocery store and purchased some items to make dinner. This included some box wine because 1. we felt like wine and 2. it was cheap! LOL!
